Our Medical Services
East Lake Hospital for Animals, Ltd. offers your pet full service medical and surgical care.
- Dental cleaning, prophylaxis, and periodontal treatment.
February is Dental month. We offer discounts on dental care in February.
- Modern surgery suite, anesthesia equipment, and patient monitoring.
- Intensive care unit providing oxygen and a temperature controlled environment for our critical patients.
- Hospitalization with proper sanitation and comfort.
- Radiology services, including dental radiography.
- Veterinary ultrasound services.
- Emergency after hours service.
- Daily "drop off" for urgent care of your pet.
Leave your pet with us if their care is urgent and your schedule doesn't allow you to stay for an office visit.
Preventative Care Services
We encourage preventative care when possible to ensure the longest life possible for your pet. To support that, we offer annual wellness exams, heartworm and parasite prevention, new pet vaccination programs, and nutritional counseling services. We also offer the following services:
- Prescription medications - You can pick up your pets medications at our facility, if they are a patient of ours. For our clients convenience, we also offer online prescriptions services through our website for ongoing presecriptions. For more information see our Products.
- Lodging - climate controlled and high standards ensure your pets protection while in our care.
- Drop off your pet for the day, when necessary! We offer day boarding.
- Convenient Sunday release/pick up when you are out of town.
- Grooming - professional long term staff to care for your pets grooming needs. We use the same high standards while your pet is our care for grooming as with all of our other services.
- AVID Microchip identification insertion for the safety of your pet.
- Reliable referrals for specialized procedures or care that is not available locally.
Housecalls
We understand that a housecall is sometimes the best way to care for your pet. Because of this we do make housecalls for your pet's convenience. Please contact our friendly staff to schedule a housecall visit.
Call Ahead for drop off/pick up Services
If your pet is in need of our services and your schedule is not flexible enough for a regular office visit, you can call ahead and schedule a time for drop off along with a phone number where you can be reached. We will take care of your pet's needs and have you check in with us for an update on your pet's progress as well as arrange a release time. Prompt care for your pet is important to us. We offer the most extensive office hours in the area to help you provide proper care for your pet.

Loss of Pet Assistance/ Memorials
The loss of a beloved pet can be an emotionally painful and devastating experience for you and your family. We are dedicated to help you through the process by counseling you through the options that are available to assist you when the time comes to say "goodbye" and referring services that will help you through the grieving process.
If you'd like to post your pet's memorial to our memorials page, please send us a .jpg image of your pet along with a short biography that captures their spirit.
