Meet Our Doctors
 Dr. W. Brad Cooper, DVM received a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois in 1978. He is a native of Danville, Il. and attended Danville schools. While in High School he was a kennel worker here at East Lake. He has been in practice since graduating and came to work as a doctor for East Lake in May 1981, and became owner of the practice in 1988. Dr. Cooper and his wife Meggin reside in Danville with their cat, Cali. They are very proud of their three adult children, one of whom is also a veterinarian!
 Dr. Stephanie King, DVM has been working at East Lake Hospital for Animals since 2006. Her hometown is Dixon, Il. She attended Illinois State University where she met her husband, Chris. She graduated near the top of her class from the University of Illinois and remains an avid Illini fan. Chris and Stephanie still reside in Champaign with their 2 cats, Kaci and Rocky (who will turn 6 years old in May), Cody a 2 year old lab mix (check out his picture on the top of this page), and Windsor an eastern box turtle whom you could say is a souvenir from her days in the Wildlife Medical Clinic. When not working, Stephanie enjoys reading books by Janet Evanovich, John Grisham, and David Baldacci as well as watching Ugly Betty, Grey’s Anatomy and House.
